More Information

The CN-M7100 is the chain used on Shimano 105 R7100 12-speed groupsets. An extended section of the inner plate holds the teeth of both the chainring and the cassette sprocket more firmly, which improves chain retention and keeps shifting smooth.

It is designed to work with HYPERGLIDE+ cassettes and DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ chainrings, with shorter shift times and less pedalling shock. The chain is shared with Shimano's SLX M7100 line, which is why the model is listed under both series.

Compatibility

For Shimano 12-speed drivetrains. Listed for 105 R7100 and SLX M7100, and also suitable for other Shimano 12-speed road, gravel (GRX) and MTB groupsets. Not for 11-speed systems.
