More Information

The R175 builds on the popular R180, adding an aerodynamically optimised cross-section while holding its class-leading weight. EXS used a higher-modulus carbon fibre for a stronger layup with no weight penalty, and added support for full internal cable routing.

Shaped through CFD, the R175 saves 3–4 W at 45 km/h over standard round-tube bars. The ergonomic top gives a natural wrist position on long rides and climbs, while the drop section is reinforced for sprint stiffness and handling confidence. The top is tuned to flex and absorb vibration, a balance refined over years of R-series development.
